Ms. McManus received her paralegal certificate from Southeastern Paralegal Institute in Dallas, Texas, in 1994. She has 17 years of paralegal experience, including ten years in corporate banking and insurance litigation defense in Texas, six years in civil litigation defense and personal injury in various Louisiana law offices, and one year in family law at the Family Justice Center in Monroe. She has also completed and graduated from the Louisiana Business College in Monroe, Louisiana, with a Secretarial Business Certificate in 1982. She is a member of the Louisiana State Paralegal Association (LSPA) and serves as editor of its newsletter, The Advocate, having served as president for the 2010-2011 year, president-elect for one year, secretary for two years, and second vice president for two years. She is also a member of the Legal Assistants of Northeast Louisiana (LANEL) and serves as President for 2012, having served as President in 2006, and Reporter for two years. Ms. McManus is part of the Monroe office.
