Aaron J. Lawler was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana.  After graduating from Lutheran High School, he earned a B.A. in Political Science from Louisiana State University in 1997. He attended the Loyola University of New Orleans School of Law, earning his J.D. in 2001.

During Aaron’s 20 plus years of practicing he has represented Fortune 500 companies, nationally recognized insurance companies and their insureds, self-insured entities such as large construction firms and plant maintenance specialists, small businesses and individuals.  His practice is primarily focused on casualty defense litigation and trial practice.  He also selectively represents individuals and families injured by the negligence of others.

Aaron’s desire to serve lead to him being elected as an Ascension Parish Councilman in 2016.  For the past 6 years he has served as the Transportation Committee Chairman and is now serving as Recreation Chairman.  He has also served as the Vice Chairman of Strategic Planning, Recreation and East Ascension Drainage Commission. Aaron also serves as an ex official board member on the Ascension Parish Economic Development Corporation and Ascension Parks Foundation.

Aaron lives in Prairieville with his beautiful wife Julie and their three sons, Hyland, Riley and Yeager.  When not attending his son’s Dutchtown High soccer games or tailgating with his family at LSU, Aaron enjoys traveling with his wife, cooking, fishing and reading.
