On Thursday, September 18 and Friday, September 19, 280 persons attended the 2014 Louisiana School Law Workshop held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Baton Rouge. Besides the Educators, 22 Superintendents and 18 attorneys attended the two days of presentations. Bob Hammonds and Jon Guice each spoke in two sessions and one joint session. They covered the recent legislative acts, student discipline, employee terminations, budgets and a stump the lawyer sessions. Other presenters at the workshop included Elmer Noah, Neal Johnson, Carla Courtney, Wayne Stewart, Pam Dill, Melissa Loach and Danielle Bordeaux. A manual of 300 pages was provided to each participant with the materials prepared by the presenters.
