The 2015 HSAG Section 504 Workshop was held May 12th at the Embassy Suites in Baton Rouge, LA. Nearly 200 of Louisiana's top educators and school staff were in attendance to hear Wayne Stewart, Pam DeLaune, and Melissa Losch deliver vital information relative to Section 504 - a law against discrimination of those with disabilites.
Sessions included various topics like "Back to Basics", an entry-level/refresher session, and "Year in Review: Court Decisions and Settlement Agreements", an in-depth look at court cases from the last year and how they will affect the future of education in Louisiana. The sessions lasted from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
